The Altoona Curve split a doubleheader with Richmond Friday night at Peoples Natural Gas Field.
Altoona rallied to win game one 5-4, scoring all five runs in the sixth inning. Shawn Ross highlighted the comeback with a two-run homer, and Omar Alfonzo followed with a bases-clearing double to give the Curve the lead. Emmanuel Chapman closed it out for the save.
Game two was a different story, as Richmond jumped out early and rolled to a 10-0 win. The Flying Squirrels scored five runs in the first inning and never looked back.
