A final run in the bottom of the seventh allows Conemaugh Valley to advance in the District 6 playoffs with a 2-1 victory over Ferndale.
The Blue Jays scored first with a run in the bottom of the fourth, while the Yellow Jackets responded with a run in the next inning. The game was put away in the 7th as CV was able to add a run in the bottom half to go home a winner.
Lance Masser was 1-2 for CV with a stolen base and a run. On the mound, he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
The Blue Jays will play Northern Cambria on Monday.
