Diane Lynn (Kelly) Marron, 61, of Blairsville, PA (Derry Township), passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on June 3, 1964, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Diane was the beloved daughter of Joseph G. Kelly Jr. and Margaretta (Jellison) Kelly Monnich.
A graduate of Greensburg-Salem High School, Class of 1982, Diane was a faithful member of SS. Simon and Jude Catholic Church in Blairsville. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures — dancing at Zumba, painting beautiful artwork, cooking and baking for those she loved, and spending quiet mornings watching the birds with a cup of coffee in hand. Above all else, Diane treasured her family and cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 43 years, Michael P. Marron, whom she married on September 18, 1982; her loving mother, Margaretta Monnich of Blairsville; and her three sons, Bradlee E. Marron (Alyssia) of Ligonier, Evan J. Marron (Jessica) of Black Lick, and Matthew A. Marron (Brianna) of Martinsburg, West Virginia. Diane was a proud and loving grandmother to Julijana, Bayleigh, Lainie, and Luca, who brought endless joy to her life.
She is also survived by her siblings, Debbie Steigert of Nahunta, Georgia; Joanne Mazzoni of Latrobe; and Joseph Kelly III (Honie) of Blairsville; along with several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Diane was preceded in death by her father, Joseph G. Kelly Jr., and her stepfather, James Kenneth Monnich.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 North Walnut Street, Blairsville, PA where a wake service will be held at 7:30 PM Friday. Prayers of Transfer will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 9:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM at SS. Simon and Jude Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Pham celebrant.
Interment will follow at SS. Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville.
Diane’s kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
