A new RV park that’s expected to help with temporary housing for the Homer City Redevelopment project was approved this week by Burrell Township Supervisors.
The 50-acre facility will be located along Newport Road and is being developed by Rock Creek Development. This is one of several RV parks going in that are expected to support workers on the Kiewit project. Additional land in Center Township has also been secured for that purpose, including property at the Route 119 Business Park.
The new facility in Burrell Township is expected to provide room for about 600 RVs.
