Seven fire departments were sent out for a structure fire last night in Banks Township.
Indiana County 911 reported the fire at 10:24 PM on Porterfield Road. Glen Campbell, Rossiter, Commodore, Big Run, Hope (Northern Cambria), Elk Run (Punxsutawney) and Cherry Tree fire departments were initially sent along with Punxsutawney EMS, with Elk Run placed on standby detail at Rossiter fire department, and Cherry Tree standing by for Glen Campbell.
Details on the fire have not been released.
Meanwhile, crews were busy this morning with Blairsville, Black Lick and Aultman fire departments went out for a vehicle crash near the intersection of Coal Road and Black Lick road in Black Lick Township. The crash was reported around 5:20 AM. Initial scanner reports said there was at least one person hurt.
