A number of Western Pennsylvania communities are set to receive funding from the state to help support infrastructure projects.
Governor Josh Shapiro has announced more than 54-million dollars in new grants through the state’s Multimodal Transportation Fund.
Among the projects receiving grant assistance are a project to replace streetlights in Allegheny County’s Versailles Borough, one to replace the Chestnut Street Bridge in Indiana County and one to replace the bridge carrying Fogeltown Road over Tubs Run in Somerset County.
