Trailing 4-0 entering the sixth inning, Altoona rallied to take a 5-4 lead, but Binghampton struck back, coming away with a 10-6 win.
Titus Dumitru hit an RBI double and Easton Carmichael followed with another double, plating two more runs before a two-run single by Keiner Delgado in the Curve’s big sixth inning. Carmichael then singled in a run in the seventh, but Curve pitchers couldn’t hold off the Rumble Ponies, who scored two runs in the sixth and four in the seventh.
The Curve had fourteen hits, with Dumitru getting three and Carmichael, Delgado, Callan Moss, and Jesus Castillo all having two.
Having dropped the first two games of the series, Nick Domkowski starts for the Curve in Game Three tonight.
