Altoona won the first three games of their series with Erie, but lost the next three, including last night’s finale, 7-2 in front of an overflow crowd that turned out to watch Konnor Griffin play at PNG Field.
Murf Gray homered onto the hillside beyond the left field stands and had three hits, but the Curve had only two other hits, singles by Griffin and Titus Dumitru.
Altoona is off today and will open their next-to-last series of the season tomorrow night at Harrisburg.
