One of the two suspects in a break-in at the Essex House Apartments is due in court for a sentencing hearing.
Court documents show that on August 7th, 50-year-old Andrew Scott Dunkle of Indiana pleaded guilty to burglary and possession of an instrument of crime. This was in connection with an incident in November 4th of last year at the apartment complex in the 1300 block of Oakland Avenue. The two were taken into custody, and police also recovered previously cut copper piping along with a gas generator and cutting tools.
Strotman pleaded guilty to similar charges and will be sentenced on October 30th.
Dunkle also faces two counts of burglary for another case from September of last year. Both hearings will be in front of Indiana County Judge Gina Force.
