Wednesday evening, the Penns Manor School Board accepted the resignation of their technology specialist.
The board approved the resignation of Scott Marino, which will take effect December 31st.
To that end, the board also approved re-hiring Marino as a technology specialist support consultant, which will work as an independent contractor on an as-needed basis.
Superintendent Daren Johnston explains that Marino did a great job, and the board wants to take its time in hiring a new tech specialist.
In other business, the board accepted a donation from the Penns Manor Foundation for the purchase and installation new lettering for the outside of the fitness center, as well as approved a one-year agreement with ARIN IU28 for Schoolcast services.
