A Nanty-Glo man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Cambria County on Wednesday.
Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees identified the victim as 20-year-old Daniel Clark. He was riding his motorcycle along Cardiff Road in Nanty-Glo when he hit a deer and was thrown from the bike. Emergency officials said Clark was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and died en route from the accident scene to a landing zone.
Drivers and riders are reminded that they should stay aware of their surroundings and to be on the lookout for deer or other fast-moving wildlife, as hunting season ramps up.
