After a busy day on Thursday, things were calmer for Indiana County’s first responders.
After an early morning vehicle fire, there were only two other calls for service on the day, and both were for the Indiana Fire Association. At 10:28 AM, firefighters were sent to the area of Indian Springs Road and Wayne Avenue for traffic control detail. That was for the Voices of Valor escort making its way to the Indiana Mall for setup.
The other call was for a vehicle accident at the intersection of Oakland Avenue and Warren Road in White Township at 1:54 PM. Indiana fire officials say that a car collided with a truck in a t-bone style crash as the truck was coming out of the Sunoco at the intersection.
