In college basketball, Ish Leggett returned to Pitt’s lineup from his sprained ankle and scored 21 points as the Panthers downed Stanford, 83-68. Fellow guard Jaland Lowe added 16 points and Guillermo Diaz-Graham had 12 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists while he and his twin brother Jorge contained Stanford’s 7-1 center, Maxime Raynaud.
Raynaud scored 21 points but only 10 after the game’s first nine minutes and he was limited to five rebounds, only one in the second half.
Pitt is 12-2, 3-0 in the ACC. They’ll play at 4th-ranked Duke (12-2, 4-0) on Tuesday.
