A project that was supposed to get underway last weekend has been delayed until next weekend.
PennDOT announced that the closure of the Route 422 eastbound offramp to Route 286/Oakland Avenue on the Indiana Bypass will be closed starting at 6:00 PM April 25th and will reopen at 6:00 AM the 28th to allow crews to make repairs on the road, including milling, paving and joint sealing. Motorists will use portions of 422 and 119 to go around the construction zone. Derry Construction company of Latrobe will perform the work. The $14.5 million project is expected to wrap up this December.
Work on the project is weather-dependent.
