The acting secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Education paid a visit to the Indiana County Technology Center today.

Dr. Carrie Rowe was on hand for a tour with State Representative Jim Struzzi and superintendents with all the sending districts. Rowe talked about what she was looking forward to.
She said that vocational-technical schools continue to remain important parts of the education package, presenting options for kids. She said that it was especially important in the light of the Homer City Redevelopment Project’s construction of a natural-gas fueled power plant.
