State police are looking to identify a suspect in multiple burglaries in Saint Clair Township in Westmoreland County.
Troopers from the Greensburg Barracks say the four incidents of theft were allegedly done by the same individual and happened between May 26th and last Sunday at Stiles Hardware and Stiles Creamery on Van Horn Street and the Holy Family Church on Bridge Street. The suspect took copper wire, money and merchandise from the hardware store; money from the ice cream shop; and audio equipment, keys and a gold chalice from the church. Police found a wrench at the scene of the first burglary, and a hammer at the second. It’s believed the items were used to gain entry to the buildings. The suspect fled the scene on foot in all incidents.
