Charges have been filed against two Blairsville men for an incident earlier this week.
Reports indicate that on Monday at 3:45 p.m., Blairsville Borough police responded to a report of a fight in progress along North Walnut Street. When officers arrived, they had to physically break up the altercation between 36-year-old Daniel Patterson and 56-year-old Henry Stewart Jr., both of Blairsville. Stewart was taken to IRMC for treatment of minor injuries, while Patterson was released at the scene.
Both face charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment, filed at district judge Robert Bell’s office.
