The Penguins are back in action this afternoon against the Winnipeg Jets. The pens are coming off a 6-5 overtime loss to the Carolina Hurricanes. Right now, the Pens are second in the Metro division ten points behind the ‘canes and one point ahead of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Some good news for the team from the injury front: Defenseman Sam Girard may be back in action today. He was scratched for the last five games with an undisclosed injury and was day-to-day but was a full participant at yesterday’s practice.
