The Penguins continue Round One of the playoffs tonight. The team faces off against Porter Martone and the Flyers at home. Pittsburgh trails the best-of-seven series 1-0 after falling 3-2 over the weekend.
Evgeni Malkin said Friday night after the game that the team had lost control, part of it was due to the physical provocation by the Flyers that lead to fights after the whistle. Malkin said he and the others need to play aggressive during actual game play, but know to skate away after the ref stops action to avoid further penalty trouble. The team is also preaching improvement in all areas as prep for game two.
