Thursday night, the Homer City Borough Council held a special meeting to hire a special solicitor to deal with issues related to Homer City Redevelopment and the new natural gas-fired power plant being built in Center Township.
By a unanimous vote, the council went with Donald Graham of Dylan, McCandless, King , Coulter and Graham LLP. Personnel Committee Chairperson Christina Worcester said he has experience with these topics and with the area.
The separate solicitor was needed as current solicitor Mike Supinka represents HCR on certain issues and Graham’s work will avoid conflicts of interest.
