There are some things about Steelers training camp in Latrobe that are a “given”, like the ordinary human-size beds that struggle to hold 320-pound offensive linemen, but one summertime tradition may no longer interrupt the Steelers’ on-field work: Summer storms.
St. Vincent College has posted a short video of its new indoor athletic facility, the Dunlap Family Athletic & Recreation Center, which contains a full-size football field beside a full basketball/volleyball court and a running track. The building is ahead of schedule and will be ready for use by June. The Steelers have held practices at St. Vincent since 1966, making it their permanent training camp home the following year.
