Today is the start of a big week for three area high school teams involved in playoff action. The Indiana High Baseball Team is back in the WPIAL finals tonight as they will take on Elizabeth Forward in the Quad-A championship game. Indiana beat Elizabeth Forward for the WPIAL title in 2025 on a walk-off two-run home run by Charlie Manzi. We’ll have the game for you tonight at 6:45 with the pre-game show on WDAD with first pitch slated for 7:00.
Tomorrow, Homer-Center’s baseball team will play in the District 6 Class Single-A against Claysburg-Kimmel at Mount Aloysius. Homer-Center beat Juniata Valley for the D-6 title last year. That game will be on Renda Digital TV starting at 2:45 with first pitch scheduled for 3:00 PM.
On Thursday, West Shamokin will try for its second straight District 6 Double-A softball championship, tangling with Bellwood Antis at Claysburg-Kimmel High School. The game will be at Claysburg-Kimmel and will start at 4:00 PM. We’ll have that game for you on Renda Digital TV.
