One person was flown to a Pittsburgh area hospital after a crash at the intersection of 4th and Philadelphia Streets Friday afternoon.
Indiana Borough Police Chief Justin Schawl said the crash happened in the 4:00 PM hour. Schawl confirmed that a pickup truck struck a man walking at the intersection. He was taken from the scene by Citizens’ Ambulance. The victim’s identity and medical condition are unknown at this time. Schawl said that the injuries were “significant”.
Investigation into the crash is continuing and borough police are receiving assistance from other agencies.
