Joe Block has the recap.
Prior to the game, the Pirates made a series of roster moves, recalling relievers Isaac Matson and Brandan Bidois and returning catcher Henry Davis from the paternity list. Catchers Rafael Flores Jr. and Shawn Ross were returned to Indianapolis along with reliever Antwone Kelly, and pitcher Wilbur Dotel was placed on the injured list with a right lat muscle strain.
A day after going 3-for-4 with a double and home run in a rehab start for Indianapolis, Pirates’ catcher Joey Bart did not play in Saturday’s 9-4 10-inning loss to Columbus.
