The NHL draft is Friday and Saturday in Buffalo, with the Penguins holding the 22nd overall choice in the first round.
The Pens yesterday announced that they will hold their five-day prospect development camp next week, starting on Monday at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry.
They also announced an initial roster of 22 players they have invited, with players chosen in the draft this weekend also eligible to be added. Among those invitees are one of their three 2025 first round draft choices, Michigan forward Will Horcoff, and Peyton Kettles, the 6-foot-6 defenseman who missed most of last season after having shoulder surgery in November.
Prospects who just completed the playoff run with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton are not on the initial invitee list.
The camp will conclude with the prospect tournament on Friday, July 3rd.
