A man who entered guilty pleas for five cases, including one where he was charged with making threats during the Indiana St. Patrick’s Day Parade will serve probation.
Court documents show 19-year-old Chase Mansfield of Indiana was sentenced for guilty pleas to two counts of making terroristic threats. Indiana Borough Police said that a witness reported to officers that Mansfield said he was going to “shoot up the parade”. Police found him in the 600 block of Philadelphia Street and took him into custody. He did not have a weapon. He will serve two years of probation for each count.
He also was sentenced to a year of probation for each charge of criminal mischief, theft and criminal mischief, and two years for each charge of reckless burning or exploding and criminal trespass across four other cases.
Judge Gina Force ordered all the charges to run consecutively.
