Earlier today, the Indiana County Commissioners approved an agreement with engineering consultants Stiffler-McGraw to review the preliminary land development plan for Amazon Web Services at the Homer City Energy Campus.
Josh Krug with the office of planning and development says that they will be taking a look at several aspects of the plan.
Gibson-Thomas has also proposed two sub-consultants for part of the reviews. They will be Young and Associates for architecture and building placement and Navarro and Wright Consulting Engineers for noise and vibration. The full plan set and a public comment portal is already available on the department’s website, ICOPD.org.
In other business, the commissioners approved a change order for the asbestos removal project for the Carriage House and Essex House property for the removal of additional material found in six units of Essex House.
