Three charities were presented with checks Monday morning from Kiewit and Homer City Generation.
The $250,000 was split among the Indiana County Community Action Program (ICCAP), The Indiana County Endowment Fund, and the American Cancer Society. That money was raised at the Homer City Generation/ Kiewit Cares Charity Golf Tournament held in September.
Kiewit Project Communication Manager Leo Norton says that making a difference in the community is a core value of the company.
You can find video of the check presentation as well as an extended interview with Norton and Vice-president of Homer City Generation Robin Gorman on our Facebook page.
