There are two opportunities for trick or treating today for kids in Indiana County
The Downtown Indiana business district is teaming up with the Indiana Kiwanis club to celebrate Halloween this week with a parade that will start at the Indiana Fire Association Station on 5th and Philadelphia Street and make its way uptown. Participants are advised to arrive between 8:45 and 9:20 this morning, with the lineup at 9:20 and the parade stepping off at 9:30. Everyone is welcome to take part in the parade. After the parade, there will be trick or treating at several Downtown Indiana businesses, along with some businesses that will set up trick-or-treat stops at IRMC park. That will run from 10 AM to Noon. People are advised to be on the lookout for increased pedestrian traffic during that time.
Another opportunity will start at 3:00 this afternoon at the Indiana Mall. Participants are advised to dress in their Halloween best and line up by DJ’s Go Bonkerz Bounce House. There will be a trick-or-treating parade with stops at participating businesses.
