Helen Stile, 101 of Indiana, passed away on October 23, 2026 at Beacon Ridge Personal Care in Indiana.
She was born August 26, 1925 to the late Steve and Anna (Gulasi) Machuga.
Helen was a lifelong member of various church organizations, a caretaker to many, and her faith sustained her throughout her life. She found joy in gardening and her flowers. She loved being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always loved a good bargain.
She is survived by her daughter Janice E. Stehley, a son, Bradley Stile, three grandchildren, Jessica Steiner-Curcio (Robert), Jason Stile, Rheanna Stehley, two great grandchildren, Paiton Steiner and Easton Steiner, a sister Irene George, her grandchildren’s mother Diana Patterson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Paul Stile in 1964, a son Donald Stile, four sisters, and infant sister, Susanna Machuga, Kathryn Sasala, Mary Myers, Anna Sasala and a brother John Machuga.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2:00 PM until the time of service at 6:00 PM at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, 898 Old Route 119 North, Indiana, PA
Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.
