Monday night, the Center Township Supervisors passed the 2027 budget.
Taxes remain the same at 1.3 mils, with the budget balancing at $2026.90. Supervisors President Matt Housholder talked about why they wanted to get the budget out of the way earlier than normal.
Housholder added that the biggest expense is road work, followed by salaries.
The board also approved getting engineers to survey Waterworks Road. Some of the points they will focus on include drainage, the width of the road and if a turnaround at the top is needed.
