With the season starting on Monday, IUP women’s coach Craig Carey has bolstered his staff with the addition of assistant coach Josie Daugherty.
Daugherty was previously on the staff at Shepherd, helping guide them to its first postseason in four years last season. Prior to that, she coached as a graduate assistant at Fairmont State, where she played from 2017 to 2019.
IUP opens the season on Monday with the Education Day game against Pitt Greensburg.
