Janice L. Deabenderfer, age 43 of Indiana, died Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at UPMC Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born in Indiana in 1976 to Blaine L. and Anna M. (Prokay) Deabenderfer, Sr.
Janice was a graduate of Marion Center High School and attended the Church of the Resurrection in Clymer. For several years she worked as a nanny. Janice enjoyed baking and loved spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews who were the biggest joy in her life.
An avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan, she named her beloved chocolate lab Ducan Hines Ward.
Janice is survived by 6 siblings: Beverly (Mike) Jewart of Penn Run, George (Kathi) Deabenderfer of Commodore, Brenda Smith of Indiana, Blaine (Frances) Deabenderfer, Jr. of Leland, NC, Douglas Deabenderfer of Indiana, and Darla (Rick Johnson) Powell of Ernest; four nieces; six nephews; two great-nieces; four great-nephews; her beloved pets, Moxie her cat, and Ducan her dog; as well as many friends.
In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Larry Smith.
At the family’s request, there will be no visitation. A memorial mass will be offered for Janice at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 14, 2019, at the Church of the Resurrection, Clymer. Private Interment will take place in the Church of the Resurrection Cemetery.
