Betty Kathleen Lopez, 74, Ebensburg, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023, while a resident of Maple Heights Nursing Home.
The daughter of Robert C. and Emma T (Mock) Corson, she was born October 16, 1949 in Westover, PA.
Betty was a graduate of Harmony High School. Music was Betty’s life and soul. She sang Gospel songs in church choirs, country music, and played multiple instruments.
Surviving are her children, Karl (Joanne) Hockenberry, Portage, Robert Hockenberry, Clarion, Christopher Hockenberry, Punxsutawney, and Emily (Gerald) Johnson, Clymer; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; brother, Mike (Jenny) Corson, Northern Cambria; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Betty in death were her parents; siblings, Wilda, Helen, Fred, Ken, Edgar, Dan, Joyce, and Robert.
Funeral arrangements will be private and entrusted to the John A Lefdahl Funeral Home.
