Timothy Carl Shirley, SR., 59 of Indiana, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. Born March 16, 1964, he was the son of the late Robert E. and Sarah P. (Lichtenfels) Shirley. He was the husband of the late Brenda (Shields) Shirley who died February 29, 2016.
Tim was a graduate of Blairsville High School. He enjoyed watching the Steelers and playing with his grandchildren. You could always find him at 10:30 every day visiting Brenda at the cemetery.
He is survived by his children: Timothy C. Shirley Jr. (Phyllis), Indiana and Travis M. Shirley (Jallene), Brush Valley. Tim will be missed by his 8 grandchildren and his siblings: Ron Shirley, Don Shirley, Pat Shirley, Rick Shirley, Bonnie Raney and Nancy Bracken.
He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
Friends will be received Tuesday, January 23rd from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home & Crematory of Indiana, 965 Philadelphia St. His Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM on Wednesday morning, at the funeral home, with Pastor Jack Lucas officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
