Edna “Ruth” Aul Orr Fisher, 91, of Indiana, formerly of Marion Center, passed away on Tuesday June 4, 2024.
She was born May 5, 1933 to Edward and Hazel (Nehrig) Aul in Indiana.
Ruth worked for the A&P Grocery in Indiana from 1951-1954. She then worked for 24 years as a cafeteria aid for the Marion Center School District before her retirement. She enjoyed traveling, reading the Bible and most of all spending time with her family and friends. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Heritage Grove Personal Care and Penn Hospice for their kindness, care and support.
She is survived by two sons, Ronald Orr (JoAnn), Indiana, Clyde Orr (Jan), Aberdeen, MD, and a daughter Sandra Orr, Jennerstown.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Earl Orr, and two sisters, Mildred Lydic and Grace Russell.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Interment will take place at Oakland Cemetery, Indiana, PA
The John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home of Indiana has been entrusted with the arrangements.
