You may have thought you’d seen the last of some of IUP’s greatest basketball players on the court together, but you have one more chance to revisit past, coming up on July 14th.
A team of Division Two all-stars will be playing in this year’s winner-take-all “The Basketball Tournament”, the one-million dollar nationwide tournament featuring past college and pro stars. Former IUP guard Dante Lombardi will be coaching the team and he’s going to coach an exhibition game against his dad, IUP coach Joe Lombardi, at Memorial Field House on July 14th. Former IUP stars Cobo Diaz and Ethan Porterfield are on Dante’s team, which will match up against former stars Armoni Foster, Chucky Humphries, Malik Miller, Shawndale Jones, and others.
Fans will get a chance to meet the players at the event and an autograph session and other interactive events are planned as well.
The game is at 6 PM and tickets will be ten dollars.
