Two Indiana County fire departments were called out to assist with a search in Clearfield County.
State police are conducting the search, but details have not been released. The Cherry Tree fire department was dispatched at 1:39 PM to assist state police with their search, while Commodore fire department was called in to assist at 2:55 PM.
Otherwise, first responders had two other calls. One of them was for a brush fire on Route 22 in East Wheatfield Township. That call went out at 1:33 PM, and brought out the Armagh/East Wheatfield Township and Clyde fire departments. This makes the 62nd brush fire in the year for Indiana County. No word on how much ground was damaged or what the cause of the fire was.
And a vehicle accident was reported just after midnight. State Police, Commodore fire department and Citizens’ Ambulance were dispatched to a location on Rice Road in Green Township at 12:04 this morning. No details are available on the crash.
